Skip to Content. Follow our simple and quick levelling guide to easily farm XP. Written by Jack Yarwood Published on When you emerge from Vault 76 in Fallout 76you will be limited in what weapons and armour you can wield based on your current level. So it makes sense for you to want to level up as quickly as possible to be able to get your hands on better equipment.
Luckily, there are a few simple ways to farm XP in the game. Most of them focus on killing huge waves of enemies and completing events, but there are a couple of other tips that you should know about too. This will hopefully catch you up to some of the higher-level players on your server and will make completing those endgame quests far less difficult.
Avoid quests to focus on other methods. Kill harder enemies for better XP. This may seem like common sense to anyone who has ever picked up a controller before, but there is more to this method than just killing different enemy types. Each enemy in the game has several variants or ranks, which will determine how much XP you can get from them once they die. Some events are better than others.
Head to the Sons of Dane Compound for the ultimate wave event. Participating in events is another way to farm high-level enemies. In particular, you should look out for event types that task you with killing huge waves of enemies. Out of those two, One Violent Night is probably the best option for now, because it lets you choose how long you want to summon waves of enemies before finally attracting the Wendigo you need to kill to finish the event.
Events appear sporadically, so try to keep an eye on your map every now and then to see what springs up. Defend your workshops. Another type of event that brings in a lot of XP are those where you need to defend a workstation — the areas that you can claim temporarily to harvest raw materials.
Once you claim a workstation, there is a small chance of an event triggering where waves of enemies will attack and try to destroy everything you have built. Collect Leader bobbleheads. The Leader bobblehead is a consumable in Fallout 76 that you can use to increase the amount of XP you earn temporarily.
It lasts for about an hour, but it will add five percent onto everything you earn. Finding these bobbleheads is fairly easy. Then you just need to follow the noise and pick it up. Use the Inspirational perk card. This next tip applies to those who prefer playing in a team. At level two, you will be able to unlock the Inspirational perk card by improving your Charisma.
Play your cards right. Some of the cards you should avoid, on the other hand, include Goat Legs and Thru-hiker. Goat Legs reduces fall damage, but becomes redundant if you own a set of power armour, while Thru-Hiker reduces the weight of food items, which is useless as food never ends up sitting in your inventory for too long before spoiling or being eaten. Try to unlock a mixture of these more practical cards and ones relating specifically to your build. Doing so will make travelling Appalachia far less of a grind and will let you get on with the parts of the game you enjoy the most.Breaking news: Hearthstone: Descent of Dragons guide.
We may even include it in this guide! While the quests themselves don't exactly grant a tonne of EXP, it's the fact you'll be forced into exploring the world that's the main reason you'll want to take them on. We'd highly recommend getting stuck into as many quests as possible. This way you'll tackle a greater variety of enemies, find loads of crafting materials, get a better handle over the map itself and earn a steady stream of EXP all the while.
The yellow diamond icons on your map indicate public events. Head to these by yourself or with a group of friends and you'll likely fend of a wave of increasingly tough enemies or the like. You'll need to be fairly strong to take part, but it's a decent way of earning EXP fast! Look out for cooking recipes which will also earn you temporary EXP gains too.
Despite being a small bonus, every little helps right? All of which will help you rack up EXP one way or another. Instead, find enemies of a higher level, or of a similar level to take down.

System and much more to gain XP, but with this little trick you are good to go with Power Armor and other unlock early in the game.
Our goal will be to complete multiple runs quickly such as blasting ghouls, then re-spawning and repeating all over again. This is the easiest and very basic trick yet powerful. Continue using the same method as far as the enemies are easy on you. This trick is extremely basic. You just need to lure ghouls to a car, then blow it up. The explosion will kill you and all the ghouls. Keep repeating the below steps as long as you want to farm XP.

By Kevin Almeida Last updated Nov 20, Leave a comment.Like any other game, Fallout 76 has a ton of different ways to power grind your level to either hit max level 50 or just gather up tons of perk points to spend on perk cards. Intelligence boosts your XP gain, the more intelligence points you have, the higher the XP you get. Sleep in your bed. Finally, for low level players with HIGH level friends, you can use them to grind you up incredibly fast simply by letting them carry you through the end game locations and killing the harder enemies.
No reason to kill low level enemies when high levels will be the best. With all that being said, here are my favorite ways to Level up Fast in Fallout I consider level 50 to be pretty much the border before you can start tackling some of the more difficult content, head into the higher level zones, take down the bigger enemies. Until then, you need to earn your wings, grasshopper, and to do that, you need to focus on level in the lower areas and figure out how to get your foot in the door with better gear.
For that, focus on doing several different events AND killing a bunch of enemies in the best grinding locations. Horde Events are hands down the best events for low level areas, especially as a solo player, because they guarantee legendary items, as well as some quick XP for kills, and finally the big dump of XP for completing them. With the addition of NPC, there are new ways to grind your levels due to the new locations added, and several of those locations feature a LOT more enemies, and good loot to be collected.
Remember, you NEED to get a hit on the enemy to gain the experience. This is probably the first area you want to hit as a low level grinding XP. This is just east of the Lumber Co. This is a hit an miss place, as you need to hope that when you spawn in, so will the enemies.
The monster will typically spawn on the west side of town, near the Train station. Alright, listen up. First of all, the outside, which is usually crawling with Super Mutants lining not only the walls AROUND the building, so try to keep to cover if you find yourself being sniped, but plenty of mutants wandering the outside field.
This place can vary in enemy difficulty, so go at your own risk. This is one of the only farm nodes I recommend you take, as it has a pretty good amount of Super Mutants spawning here. They typically hang around both the airplane runway AND the parkade behind the airport building, so quickly killing them up can often give a pretty good amount of XP.
You start by clearing out the parking lot, then move into the park and to your left should be another of them just sitting there. Not a TON of enemies, but still decent for just quickly clearing up.
Remember to loot, they drop a lot of good stuff! Here you will find one of the larger Raider encampments, just below the Top of the World. You can typically find a good 30 or so enemies in this whole area, making it worth cleaning up for all the XP and stimpaks you can get.
Obviously at this point you know the ropes. This, for me, is MY personal favorite grinding route.Top 10 Fallout 76 Locations That Level You Up the Fastest! (Fallout 76 Tips \u0026 Tricks)
It includes a bunch of locations that have not only a TON of enemies to kill for a beautiful amount of XP, but also the chance of Legendary Enemies spawning as well. Hands down my favorite place to hit first. Directly underneath West Tek, just down the road, is Huntersville, the next Super Mutant infested grinding location. This is great to quickly teleport in, kill the high XP giving enemy, and then head on your merry way.
Be careful of the ants though, they can sneak up on you pretty quick.Fallout 76 is all about levels and equipment, but there are always smarter methods to leveling up and rooting out bottle caps than the standard old grind. While generally busying yourself with quests and events can percolate a steady stream of XP and cash-flow, maximizing your time means a faster route to end-game content and the endless hunt for Legendary gear.Ping url
Existing as something of a spin-off prequel, it provides the first ever multiplayer-only Fallout title, with gameplay that mixes the looter-shooter, survivalist, and open-world sandbox FPS genres, to decidedly mixed results. Navigating the massive map of Appalachia as a low-level sole survivor scrub is hard, but leveraging a few methods to maximize your XP gain and bottle-cap accrual can help hasten the process.
Screen Rant is here with a comprehensive guide to ensure that new players know the best way to rank up and get rich. Bethesda may have fixed a few of these problems with the most recent patch, but the overall vulnerability of Fallout 76 to experimenting players has revealed a few potential fast-tracks to massive bounties of XP and caps.
Nothing in this guide will make use of these techniques, but players can obviously search for and experiment with them at their discretion. Collaborative Redditors have put their minds to a few terrific maps detailing these stashes, allowing players to design their own Whitespring stash-loops, which can produce upwards of caps per trip.
Additionally, players will usually find golf outfits throughout the interiors, which are low-weight and high value items worth trading with vendors for caps as well. Note that the Whitespring run, helpful as it is, also runs the risk of being partially looted by another player, since caps stashes are replenished on an unspecified schedule.
Server-hopping might help in this regard, though the popularity of the farming technique make this caps run a go-to for many players. Your best bet is to earn and equip the Fortune Finder Perk card, which will alert you when in the general vicinity of a stash with a unique sound. Bombing the resort has become de rigeur in the current Fallout 76 meta, thanks to the massive amounts of mutatable Legendaries which can then be found all over the area.
Lower-level solo players with decent radiation gear like the hazmat suit or some Power Armor can join in on the fun too, so long as they manage to ding any enemies being rounded up by the power-leveling death squads who flock here during events.
The math breaks down like this: there are 7 factions in Fallout 76all of whom stock caps in their vendor budget which replenishes every 24 hours. The map image above can give you an idea of how things break down. Specific paths between the different vendors depend on a number of factors — for instance, accessing the unique Enclave faction vendor in Whitespring requires players to complete a fetch quest — but, so long as you can figure out which vendors are accessible, you can go about designing a path to hit as many different ones as possible in a single load screen.
Make sure to sell any undesired Legendaries to vendors or other playersrather than leave them to take up valuable space in your Stash. Leonardo Faierman was born in Buenos Aires, raised in Queens, on the playground was where he planned most of his schemes. Since then he's plowed a jagged path as a writer, editor, podcaster, comic creator, and mostly benevolent malcontent in New York City. At the time of this writing, there is the distinct possibility that all or some of those have changed.

L boost Mainly InteligenceCanned meat stew that comes from the event ""Feed the people"" and lastly get some scorchbeast brain and cook it. If you got Carnivore mutation that will yield you double the INT boosts from meats. When doing this route you'd want to be in a building team. L that come from mutations Only positive stat boosts If a mutation gives 4 INT you will get 5 instead. Aswell as full set of Unyelding armor.
Public team for XP boost Strange in numbers only works when in a team where a teammate is mutated aswell. From here go over to the location posted below and kill the Monster that rule those lands. Thus yielding you from around 1 Exp.
I've counted 28 on my run Just inside of West Tec building, not accounting for the dogs and if we calculate at so low end, a run of West tec should yield you around 9 XP. Clear these 2 Fissure sites.
I only recommend these 2 since the level of these are the highest i've found around the map and each kill should yield from I've made this into Part since this is the route i take and if a event spawns, always go to that event while joined in a team for double XP yield after completing event Reward from ""Public Teams"". Last part is server jump and repeat.
When Line of sand event comes, get ontop of the mountain behind the scorched spawns and they should all spawn in one place, don't know why this happens but i've completed the repeatable over 10 times during one event.
Pro tip, use a weapon with the explosive legendary perk so you just need to tag them then let the other players kill them. Or if you have a tesla rifle you can do the same. And lastly here is a clip i made that took 30 min of editing even though it shouldnt have. Hope this makes you laugh. Source: Original link. Anyone who's tried to upgrade equipment in new game plus will know just how expensive it all can be. Purchasing and fully upgrading a full set of armour can cost over a million hacksilver and almost skap.

To be eligible for the list, the game must be confirmed foror there should be good reason to expect its release in that year. Therefore, upcoming games with a mere announcement and no discernible release date will not be included.Legal notice to neighbour
